Alumni

The Board of Directors and staff of the Harbor would like to maintain contact with the children who grew up at the Harbor and have moved on to start a life of their own. While you are no longer living at the Harbor, you are very much a part of our extended family. We want to stay in touch with you and keep you informed of our progress as we continue to provide care to children who are abused, neglected or abandoned through no fault of their own. We are also interested in learning what has happened in your life since you left the Harbor.

The first step in creating our alumni organization is to locate as many former residents as we can and obtain their contact information. If you are a Harbor alumni, please call (713) 688-6262 and provide us with your name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and when you lived at the Harbor. Or you can also e-mail your information to us by filling out our contact us form and adding the time you lived at the Harbor in the "Message" box at the bottom of the page.

Once we have your contact information we can begin to send you our quarterly newsletter and invitations to special Harbor events.

We would also like to establish a speaker's bureau consisting of alumni who would be willing to share their success stories with the children currently living at the Harbor and work with our Director of Development to tell their story to donors who are interested in hearing first hand how the Harbor made a difference in the lives of its residents.
