THE 2009 GOOD SKIPPER GALA WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
On Saturday, June 13, guests gathered to honor and celebrate Gloria & Robin Riley - Boys & Girls Harbor 2009 Good Skipper honorees. More than 150 guests attended the black tie celebration. Festivities included live and silent auctions, a Dive for a Pearl bar, gourmet dinner, dancing and more! Special thanks to:

Harbor hosts the annual
H’Olympics athletic competition
Over 300 children from residential care organizations around the country converged on Houston, Texas from June 14-19 as Boys & Girls Harbor hosted the annual H'Olympics athletic competition.
Athletic events for both boys and girls included track & field, volleyball, basketball, swimming and softball, and the events were held on the campus of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville , Texas.
The most important part of the weeklong competition was that the participants learned to compete as a group and grow as individuals when engaged in team sports. Competition and sportsmanship teach invaluable life lessons to children of all ages, and their importance in creating healthy, happy, and productive adults cannot be underscored. The games allowed the children to share positive experiences, socialize, and to have fun.
The 2009 Divas & Darlings Children’s Fashion Show and Luncheon
The 2009 Divas & Darlings Children’s Fashion Show and Luncheon was a terrific success raising close to $100,000 for Harbor programs!
